At Children's Physicians, our skilled team of pediatricians and nurse practitioners provides comprehensive medical care to infants, children and adolescents. We are located in Palm Beach County and Martin County. Our courteous and knowledgeable staff works hard to ensure that every visit that you make to our office is a positive and pleasant experience.

Learn Who We Are

  • Lynda Bideau
    M.D.

    Dr. Lynda Bideau has been practicing at Children's Physicians since 1989. She graduated from The Medical College of Pennsylvania and did her residency at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for The University of Vermont Medical School, serving as a teacher and mentor for medical students. She currently serves on the Governing Board at St. Mary's Medical Center/Palm Beach Children's Hospital and on the Pediatric Quality Insurance Committee at Jupiter Medical Center. She is the mother of two adult children, Jacki and Matt, and has two grandchildren. Her husband, Mark, is an attorney in West Palm Beach. Besides her work, she enjoys spending time watching her favorite teams, the Miami Heat, the Dolphins, and the Marlins.

  • Luis Pineiro
    M.D.

    Dr. Luis Pineiro has been practicing pediatrics and adolescent medicine for over 20 years in beautiful south Florida and all of his years in practice have been with Children’s Physicians. He spent 3 years completing his pediatrics residency at Akron Children’s Hospital in Northeast Ohio after finishing his clinical externship rotations in Miami, FL. The next 2 years were spent at the University of Maryland where he did a fellowship in adolescent medicine and worked as an assistant professor of pediatrics. In 1993, he and his spouse moved to Palm Beach Gardens and started a family that includes two busy teenagers. In his free time, you are likely to find him at the local fields watching his kids play sports.

  • Alexandria Niewiadomski-Ayala
    M.D.

    Dr. Alexandria Niewiadomski-Ayala was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She completed her medical school training at Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and did her pediatric residency training at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She is a board-certified pediatrician and has been practicing at Children’s Physicians since 2002. She is currently married to Dr. Ricardo Ayala and has two daughters, Natalia and Tatiana, and a dog named Banjo.

    She enjoys spending time with her family, cruising on their boat, and practicing yoga.

    She is fluent in Spanish and English. Hablo Espanol.

  • Shirley Stickle
    M.D., MPH, FAAP

    Dr. Shirley Stickle is originally from Boston, MA but traded in the ski slopes and traffic jams for sunnier skies and scuba diving. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, She attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her pediatric training at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics for The University of Vermont Medical School, serving as a teacher and mentor for medical students.  Also, she currently serves on the Medical Operation Committee of the Palm Beach Children's Hospital.

    Her interests include combatting childhood obesity, adopting healthy lifestyles and developing innovative ways to get her children to eat vegetables.

    She spends time with her three children, Colette, Corinne & Camille, and her husband, Robert, a radiologist. In her free time, her interests include cheering for her children's soccer and swim teams,  running, swimming, traveling and anything Disney.

    She is bilingual in English and Cantonese (Chinese). 我说中文.

  • Gay Alford Nunley
    M.D.

    Dr. Gay Alford Nunley has been practicing in pediatrics since 1998 and joined Children's Physicians in 2006. She grew up and attended college in California. She graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School and did her residency training at the University of Connecticut, Connecticut Children's Medical Center. She has two sons and the family enjoys swimming, fishing and snow skiing. Dr. Nunley is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

  • Micael St. Louis,
    A.P.R.N., D.N.P.

    Micael St. Louis is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Children's Physicians in 2013. She received her Master's Degree of Science from Florida Atlantic University and graduated with honors. For six years, she worked as a Critical Care Nurse at Jupiter Medical Center, Florida. Micael is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and volunteers in her community. She resides in Port St Lucie with her husband and their two sons. Micael is caring, compassionate and committed to the wellness of your children.

  • Lauren Badach
    A.P.R.N.

    Lauren graduated with her BSN from Florida State University in 2009. She moved back to Jupiter, her hometown, to work at the Palm Beach Children's Hospital. Following graduation from Florida Atlantic University where she completed her MSN specializing in family, she joined Children's Physicians. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, watching Seminole football, and playing with her dog Bowden.

  • Amanda Szymanski
    C.P.N.P.

    Amanda is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. As a native of Florida, she graduated from PBSC with her AAS in Nursing in 2007. She worked at Saint Mary's Medical Center in the Pediatric Emergency Room as an RN for 6 years while she obtained her BSN from FAU in 2012, followed by her MSN at UF in 2014 (Go Gators!!). She has worked locally as a Pediatric NP for 5 years.

    Amanda is married to a Firefighter with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. She has two young children and a pup. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys boating and pool days with her family, friends, and dog.

  • Cristin Brennen
    A.P.R.N.

    Cristin is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Vero Beach, Florida. She graduated with her BSHS from the University of South Florida, BSN from the University of Miami, and MSN from Nova Southeastern University. She joins our practice with over four years of pediatric experience at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.

    In her free time, she likes spending time with her family, traveling and being physically active. She is married to her high school sweetheart, a Project Manager for a local construction company. They have one son and two dogs together. Cristin enjoys providing family-centered care to her patients and their families.

  • Christine Dowling
    A.P.R.N.

    Christine Dowling, A.R.N.P., has practiced at Children's Physicians since 1994. She earned her Master of Nursing degree from the University of Florida in 1993, with a specialty in pediatrics. She is Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has additional training as a lactation consultant. She has been a clinical preceptor for Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University Nurse Practitioner students. Her practice philosophy focuses on preventative health care and promoting healthy lifestyles. Christine lives in Jupiter with her husband and two children.

  • Tracy Lockett
    A.P.R.N.

    Tracy Lockett, ARNP, has her Master's Degree from Indiana University School of Nursing. She has over twenty years of experience in Pediatrics. She joined Children's Physicians in 2005 and works primarily in the Palm City office. She has been married for 14 years to her husband, Del, and they have four amazing young boys. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, fishing and cooking.

  • Kathleen Cairnes
    MSN, A.P.R.N., FNP-C

    Kathleen Cairnes is a South Florida native who started her undergraduate studies at Florida State University and completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Florida Atlantic University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in neonatal intensive care and joined Children's Physicians in 2015. She lives in West Palm Beach with her husband, John, who is a local Civil Engineer. She enjoys exercising, traveling, and watching/attending FSU football games. Kathleen strives to provide compassionate family-centered care to all of her patients.
