About Us

Children's Physicians is proud of its role as the first pediatric practice in northern Palm Beach County. Founded in 1961 by Dr. John S. McRoberts and Dr. Michael L. Steiner, the practice was initially called North Palm Beach Children's Clinic. In 1975, the office moved to its current location in Palm Beach Gardens and once the practice expanded and added two additional locations in Jupiter and Palm City, the practice name was changed to Children's Physicians. All of the physicians in the practice are board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and are fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The credo of Children's Physicians has always been to offer professional and compassionate pediatric care in a pleasant and non-threatening environment. The practice places emphasis on continuing medical education through seminars and pediatric educational meetings both in the United States and abroad.

At Children’s Physicians, we consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children. Most of us are parents ourselves so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We are honored that you have chosen us as your child’s primary care provider and are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of care that will be provided to you and your family.

A vital part of our service to children begins with our outstanding staff who works hard to create and maintain a professional, caring, and supportive environment for our patients and their families. At Children's Physicians, our doctors and nurse practitioners are lifelong learners. Not only have they received advanced medical training in pediatrics but they also continually pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in child health care.

Your child’s health is as important to us as it is to you. We look forward to providing you with excellent pediatric care in the Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Palm City areas.

Please take a few moments to meet our team at Children's Physicians and learn about our skilled practitioners as well as our friendly, nurturing staff.
